CLC Thanksgiving Food Drive to bless LifeSource going on until Sunday, November 23. The following items are needed for the Thanksgiving Baskets: Turkeys (10 – 12 pounds), Hams (about 5 pounds), Canned Sweet Potatoes, Stuffing Mix, Cranberry Sauce, Green Beans, Corn, Canned Pumpkin, Brown Sugar and Canned Fruit.
Join us in the gym and bring your family along with your favorite dishes. Breads and drinks will be furnished. Please sign up at the Information Counter if you plan to attend and indicate what you will be bringing. If you bring a meat, just indicate 1 choice. If you bring a vegetable, salad or dessert, please indicate 2 choices. This will replace our regular schedule for Wednesday evening.
Preaching the Gospel & Playing the Blues. The Blues…it’s all about the soul of a man. Who better to play the blues than a man who lost it all only to regain it again? That’s what The Rev. Jimmie Bratcher is about! He will be dishing out heart pounding blues and riffs that will stand up next to any of today’s guitar masters.
If you would like to share a Christmas blessing with a child, please stop by our Christmas Tree on the front porch and pick up your ”Little Angel” today. These “Little Angels” are from the LifeSource Ministry. More information is available on the Angel Tree Table. Angels need to be returned by Sunday, December 7.
