Hello ladies,
Can you believe Christmas is over, and we have entered 2011? Why does time go so much
faster the older I get? Well, I am here to tell you that I know 2011 is going to be filled with a lot
of exciting things for our church, and our women’s ministry. I can’t wait to get started…what
about you?
I came across this quote, and I believe it…“God’s plan is not for us to stumble through the hours
and days of life exhausted and depleted to the point of desperation, drowning in stress.” (Mary
Southerland). Have you ever really thought about that? God doesn’t want us just to “survive”
here on earth. He wants us to live a life of hope, peace, and unending joy – even in the midst of
our chaotic lives. We can do this ladies, and we can do it together.
I love Phillipians 1:3-6 from the Message, “Every time you cross my mind, I break out in
exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself
praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with
us, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the
present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started
this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day
Christ Jesus appears.” How awesome is that? Let us encourage one another this year that
God will complete His great work in us, and through us. Beloved, He hasn’t forgotten you.
Not only that, He delights in you!
We would love to see you at our Tuesday Morning Bible Study beginning January 18 at 9:00
a.m. We will be studying Beth Moore’s “A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place”. We will
dive into the building of the Tabernacle in the wilderness, and how it relates to our lives today.
You won’t want to miss so be sure and sign up on the Front Porch. We will also be attending
the Beth Moore conference in Little Rock for our spring event, April 15-16. You can buy
