GROWTH GROUPS meet on a regular schedule and address specific life issues, such as alcohol/drug dependency, depression, divorce, and many more in a non-threatening environment.
I'm Awesome is a unique ministry to disadvantaged children. It is a time to be able to extend Christ to them in one on one relationships to help build their self-esteem and for them to find their potential in life.
South Fayetteville Outreach is an extension of Joseph's Storehouse. On the fourth Monday evening we provide a meal with Christian music, testimony and interaction with those attending at Yvonne Richardson Center. at the end each family receives a box of groceries.
Joseph's Storehouse
"When the famine had spread over the whole country, Joseph opened the storehouses for the famine was severe." Genesis 41:56
What is Joseph's storehouse?
The ministry of Joseph's Storehouse began as a direct result of Christian Life Cathedral's desire to minister to those in need by providing assistance in the area of groceries. The Storehouse is supplied with groceries and other items which have been donated by the CLC church family. These items are inventoried and supplemented by food purchases at Ozark FoodBank, The Arkansas Rice Depot and donations from Northwest Arkansas businesses. The groceries are distributed to those in need within the CLC body and the Northwest Arkansas community.
Our Policy:
Our desire is to provide basic groceries to families in need. We realize that every item of preference is not available. In no way will we attempt to be the sole provider of a family's needs. Joseph's Storehouse does not distribute money. As we provide grocery assistance, monies that would normally be used to buy groceries will be available to apply toward utility bills, etc. Joseph's Storehouse policy is to distribute food on an "as available" basis and we will not discriminate against race, color, creed or religious preference.
Accomplishing the Goal:
In order to accomplish the goals of Joseph's Storehouse Ministry, we have developed the following system:
1. A grocery offering will be received during both worship services once a month.
2. Anyone who would like to contribute financially to Joseph'sStorehouse may give their cash donation or check in the offering. Make checks payable to CLC. To receive tax credit, cash donations must be placed in an offering envelope along with your name and address. Designate "Joseph's Storehouse" on the check or envelope.
3. A group of volunteers assist with this ministry in a variety of areas. Volunteers are needed to transport items from Ozark Food Bank, The Arkansas Rice Depot and local businesses, unload food, stock shelves, assemble seasonal food baskets and distribute food. It is our desire to minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of our community as well as the physical needs. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, contact the LifeSource at (479) 521-4000.
How can I Become Involved In Donating Food Items?
On the third Sunday of each month, a special time is set aside during the a.m. services to receive the grocery items and cash donations brought by out congregation. it is our desire for the entire church to catch the vision of this wonderful ministry and to have full participation at each service. Parents, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to train our children to be "givers" and for them to begin to understand and experience the blessings of God in this area of ministry. We encourage parents to provide their
children with items they can bring for Joseph's Storehouse.

27 He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.
Matthew 25:42-45
42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
44 "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
45 "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
I John 3:17
